The brief
Businesses exploring AI often don’t know whether they need a simple chatbot, a RAG assistant trained on their own documents, or a full custom AI application with auth, billing, and a dashboard. They need someone who can help scope the right build, not just plug in an API and call it done.
What I built
Custom AI applications and chatbots scoped to the actual problem, covering:
- RAG chatbots grounded in a client’s own documents, using vector databases so answers come from real source material
- ChatGPT-style assistants with custom system prompts and guardrails to stay on-brand
- Full AI SaaS platforms with authentication, billing, and admin dashboards
- Function calling and tool use so the AI can take actions, not just answer questions
Each build is scoped to the client’s real use case, so a simple FAQ bot isn’t over-engineered into a full platform, and a genuine SaaS product isn’t under-built as a basic script.
Tech stack
Node.js/Python backends, OpenAI/Claude and open-source LLM APIs, vector databases for RAG, React/Next.js frontends with auth and billing where needed.
The result
- AI products grounded in the client’s real data instead of generic, hallucination-prone responses
- Guardrails and system prompts that keep the assistant on-brand and on-topic
- Production-ready apps with auth and billing for clients building a real SaaS product, not just a demo
